To increase public understanding of owls, on 7th July 2011 Chunghwa Post issues a set of four stamps on the owls of Taiwan, featuring Long-eared Owl (Asio otus), Oriental Scops Owl (Otus sunia), Tawny Owl (Strix aluco) and Collared Owlet (Glaucidium brodiei).
