Tiger cover from Malaysia!

Received this beautiful FDC posted from Ipoh, Malaysia! Courtesy of fellow blogger, Khor Kok Keong, thank you very much bro!

On 23rd Feb 2010, Pos Malaysia and her South Korean counterpart released a joint stamp issue to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Malaysia-Korea Diplomatic Relations. The subject used in the joint issue is tiger.

Two tiger stamps with denomination of 50 sen were issued - one stamp depicts Korean Tiger (also known as Siberian tiger) and the other one on Malayan tiger. The Korean tiger and Malayan tiger are different subspecies of tiger. The Korean tiger is the largest tiger subspecies distributed from Russia to Korea. On the other hand, the Malayan tiger is the smallest tiger subspecies confined to Peninsular Malaysia.

These tiger stamps are absolutely beautiful which coincide the year of tiger.
