Covers to my friends!

I have prepared 13 covers to be sent out tomorrow. They are going to France, Finland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Pakistan, Belgium, Spain, Slovakia, Malaysia and Republic of Maldives. How I wish I could fly with them! :)

And here are a few of the covers...

The 2 covers above bear postage stamps and a minature sheet issued by Singpost on 19th June 2009 to commemorate the 150 years of Singapore Botanical Gardens. Singapore Botanical Garden is a 63.7-hectare garden that opens from 5 a.m. to 12 midnight every single day of the year, and admission to the park is fee.

This cover features a set of stamps from Singpost's latest series, entitled "Bridges", issued on 28th August 2009. It was a Joint Issue with Philippines to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationships between Singapore and the Philippines. Chosen bridges include Henderson Waves & Alexandra Arch and Cavenagh Bridge from Singapore, as well as Bamban Bridge and Marcelo Fernan Bridge from the Philippines.

Next is a cover franked with stamps from the "Local Desserts" series, issued on 17th July 2009. Appetizingly featured in this stamp issue are 5 common local desserts that can be easily found in eateries as well as confectioneries, namely: Ice Kacang (1st Local), Ondeh Ondeh (2nd Local), Ang Ku Kueh (65c), Lapis Sagu (80c) and Mithai ($1.10).
