Lovely cover from Italy

As promised, here is the second cover sent by Matteo from Italy! Thanks again! The 3 fountain stamps franked on this awesome cover belong to the 6th series of "Fontana" stamps, issued on 25th Oct 1978.
These stamps depict the magnificent Fontana Cavallina in Genzano, which dates back to the 17th century, Fontana Del Nettuno or Fountain of the Neptune built in 1769 in Trento, and the 16th century Fontana Della Fortuna (Fountain of Fortune) in Fona, dedicated to the Goddess of Fortune.

It was very difficult for me to find detailed information about these fountains as most were written in Italian which I don't understand. Luckily, I managed to get this wonderful video clip on Fontana Cavallina. Pls enjoy!

The stamp franked on the top right corner is from the 2009 Europa CEPT "Astronomy" series, that I have discussed in my previous post. Great thanks to Matteo for presenting me with both stamps.
Lastly, we have a beautiful stamp from the "Arts" series, issued on 20th Nov 1980. This stamp depicts the famous Sculpture, "Apollo and Daphne" (1622-1625) by Bernini Gian Lorenzo.
The other stamp in this beautiful set features the famous works of Palma Il Vecchio (1598-1680) titled "Santa Barbara". That's all folks. Have a great weekend!
