My first cover from Switzerland!

We have traveled to several places, and my wife always agrees with me that Switzerland ranks among our top travel destinations so far. We simply love the beautiful climates, breathtaking scenary, friendly people, etc... everything seems perfect! In fact, our government has taken Switzerland as a role model for Singapore, especially for economic issues, education, public transport, research and development, as well as military and civil defence.

Today, I am extremely delighted to receive a lovely cover from Switzerland. It is also my first cover from this beautiful country. Many thanks to Vural Oguz! (a cover is on the way to Switzerland!)

The stamp on the left of the cover was issued on 5th March 2009 to commemorate the "50th Anniversary of Swiss Transport Museum". The 3 stamps in the set depict Steamship Rigi (0.85 CHF), Racing car Dufaux (1.00 CHF), and Lockheed Orion 9C Special (1.30 CHF). The stamp on the right belongs to the "Circus" series, issued on 25th August 1992. I have shared with you some of our Switzerland vacation photos in my previous post, and here I shall share some more with you...pls enjoy!
