What a day!

Yesterday i received a registered cover from Philippines and i was pretty excited about it. This was the purchase of some stamps from eBay a few weeks back, and i had been waiting eagerly to receiving them. Guess what? When i opened the envelope and to my astonishment it contained a different set of stamps! The seller had actually sent me the wrong stamps! Anyway i had contacted the seller informing her about the mistake.

Well, on the positive side.. this is quite an impressive cover! There are altogether 9 glorious stamps on both sides of the cover, showing 3 interesting sets of commemorative stamps. The 4 fish stamps on the front are a complete set and was issued in 2007. It commemorates the 60th Anniversary of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. While the back of the cover bears a souvenir sheet issued on 1st February 2004 to commemorate the 150th Anniversary Of The First Philippines Postage Stamps. The block of stamps on the left, belongs to a single issue, commemorating the 400th anniversary of Our Lady of Piat in 2004.

This cover had travelled a distance of approximately 2,397km or 1,489miles from Manila in Philippines and took 14 days to reach me.

And here are the stamps which were wrongly sent to me.
